The installation process involves utilizing an advanced kit that includes a Johnny Joint® insert for the gear case ear and a practical installation tool, as well as a one-inch thick flame-cut steel upright for the tube side, with the Johnny Joint® pre-installed. The innovative design requires only the top portion of the stock bracket that is on the tube to be modified, allowing you to fit the new RockJock piece into the base of the existing bracket without causing any warpage to the tube, as no welding is necessary on the tube itself.
