If you only do one performance upgrade on a Renegade, start here. Factory drive by wire throttle is intentionally soft. The GOPedal Plus reprograms pedal response so the truck answers when you ask, not a half second later.
It is plug and play, reversible, and controlled from a wireless remote or the GOPedal Plus smartphone app. Maps cover every mood: Eco, Street, and Race, each with five fine tune levels, plus Valet and Protect modes when you hand over the keys or want extra security.

Throttle response is half the story. MAXBoost is the engine control module that adds the power behind it. Designed by MADNESS Autoworks for the turbo Renegade, it optimizes boost and fueling for real world gains, up to around +30% power and torque depending on engine and conditions, with published figures on the 1.4L in the neighborhood of +25 PS and +58 Nm, plus a shot at better consumption when you stay out of Race.
Three driving modes with five levels each let you keep a civil daily map and a weekend map on the same module. The same app ecosystem that runs GOPedal Plus also talks to MAXBoost, so you can change throttle and boost from the phone instead of stacking random boxes.

3. MADNESS Off Road Roof Rack Ladder
A roof rack is useless if you cannot get to it without standing on a plastic bumper. The MADNESS Off Road Roof Rack Ladder is built in Texas for the Renegade: 1 inch steel tube, textured black powder coat, 400 lb rating, driver side mount, no drilling. It bolts to vehicles with OEM roof rails and feels like a real ladder instead of a decorative stick.
Owners use it for rooftop tents, recovery boards, cargo boxes, and weekend gear. Install is typically a 20 to 30 minute driveway job with basic hand tools and color printed instructions.

Widescreen Design T2 and Widescreen Design T4 The units that change the cabin. T2 Widescreen is the same visual jump at a lower price.

Mud, slush, trail sand, dog hair, grocery leaks. The Renegade’s carpet does not survive a real year without liners. Our premium all weather front and rear set is the version we recommend over cheap rubber mats.
These are 3D digitized to the Renegade footwells, not a “universal compact SUV” shape. 6. Daystar 1.5" Comfort Ride lift kit
A modest lift is the difference between a Renegade that looks stock and one that can wear a larger tire without rubbing through every driveway. Daystar’s Comfort Ride kit is a 1.5 inch, 100% bolt on system that does not require strut disassembly.
The kit uses progressive rate polyurethane coil spacers (front and rear), rear control arm brackets, and Daystar’s top load strut stud extenders. Ride quality stays close to factory. It is FMVSS 126 compliant and backed by Daystar’s Lifetime Go Everywhere Warranty.
Fitment: All Renegade models, 2WD and 4WD Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. Actual lift can vary slightly by trim. Supports up to two tire sizes larger on stock wheels.
Made in the USA. No metal to metal spacer noise. The first step before a more aggressive wheel and tire package.

7. Jeep Renegade retrofit trailer hitch
This is our kit. Not a hanging bar under the bumper. A factory style in bumper 2 inch receiver that keeps departure angle and ground clearance intact. Height is correct for trailers and bike racks. Jeep dealers buy this kit because it is complete.
You do not need an expensive pre cut bumper cover. The kit includes a Texas made custom receiver, bezel fascia, self adhesive cutting template and position checker, 10 replacement body clips, 14 mm factory style anchor bolts for non Trailhawk models, a trailer light converter with fuse holder and heat shrink, and a 12 page full color instruction manual.
Ratings: Do not exceed factory towing limits. Typical Renegade max is 2,000 lb towing / 200 lb tongue. Always confirm in the owner’s manual for your year and powertrain.

8. MAXFire ignition coils from MADNESS Autoworks for 1.3L, 1.4L, and 2.4L
Weak coils show up as a high RPM misfire, a stumble under load, and a truck that never feels as sharp as the tune you just installed. MAXFire coils are built for MADNESS Autoworks to exceed OEM spark energy, with a stronger pack and a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle.
They are a direct swap, a complete set of four, and they matter even more once you add MAXBoost, AutoFlash, or a freer flowing filter. Stock coils are a known weak point on these engines when you ask them to work harder.
Available for: 1.3L, 1.4L turbo, and 2.4L Renegade engines.

More air is still the cheapest power you can buy, if the filter actually flows and still filters. We stock two names that beat oiled cotton and paper, and we sell both because owners argue about them and we refuse to pick a single religion.
Sprint Performance Air Filter Italian polyester media. Independent university testing put Sprint’s P08 tissue at the front of the pack for airflow versus leading cotton “race” filters. The P037 waterproof version filters down to 37 microns and was proven on the salt at Bonneville. Direct fit panels for 1.3L, 1.4L turbo, and 2.4L, including P08 F1 85 and S High Performance options on the 1.3L.
BMC Performance Air Filter Oiled cotton done properly. BMC’s layered media contains particles down to 7 microns (paper OEM is typically around 10) with less than half the pressure drop of a paper element and 98.5% efficiency against ISO 5011. A favorite drop in for the 2.4L and other Renegade applications we list.
Both are washable and serviceable, not disposable paper. Choose a Sprint Performance Air Filter when you want maximum flow and wet weather confidence. Choose a BMC Performance Air Filter when you want proven oiled cotton filtration at a sharp price.

Plastic factory shields are for parking lot scrapes. Valkyrie builds steel armor for the Renegade and Compass: front engine skid, driveshaft / center bearing skid, rear differential coverage, and combo kits. Plates are laser cut 3/16 inch steel with a powder coat finish, approach and departure angles that slide instead of hook, and venting so you are not trapping heat against a Dana bearing.
The front plate is the one trail owners talk about. It covers the oil pan the factory piece leaves exposed, and service panels let you reach the drain and filter without dropping the whole skid every oil change. Fitment exists for Trailhawk and non Trailhawk architecture. Tell us the year and trim so we send the right plate.
Why Valkyrie: Thickness, coverage, and hardware that survive rocks. Compatible with typical 1.5 to 2 inch lifts.
