This Yukon 4340 chromoly replacement axle kit includes inner and outer axles for both left and right sides, two 27-spline outer shafts, and Yukon Super Joints. Designed for Dana 30 differentials on 1984–2001 XJ platforms, the axles use cold roll-formed splines and advanced induction heat treatment for increased tensile strength and durability under high-load conditions. The kit also includes a vacuum disconnect block-off kit and is intended for performance and off-road applications; Super Joints are higher maintenance and the kit is not recommended for daily-driven vehicles. Yukon rates these axles as providing up to 50% increased strength over stock in extreme performance scenarios.
